TOWARD, Thomas Winton

Winton was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England in 1936 and moved to Canada in 1945.

T. Winton TOWARD was a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society for more than fifty years and, at time of death, was a retired life member. In addition, he was, at various times, a practising member of the Barristers' Society of New Brunswick and also of the Barreau du Québec as a non practising solicitor. During most of his legal career to the time of his retirement, he was member of Canadian National Railway Company Law Department and practiced at several locations in Canada, mainly at the Canadian National Railway Company Headquarters in Montreal Quebec.

In his retirement, he enjoyed many happy years at his home in Saint-Sauveur des Monts, QC.
He is pre-deceased by his wife Manon Thibert (2022). He was the father of: Hugh Toward (Ying), Torie Laskey(Scott), and Alistair Toward(Suzy), and step-father to: Michel Henuset(Debbie), Sylvain Henuset(Johanne), Catherine Henuset(Michel) and had several grandchildren.
