LAGENDYK, Peter John

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Peter on December 24, 2020.
Born and raised in Montreal, Peter graduated in civil engineering from McGill University in 1953.
After graduating, he worked for a few years in the north of the province and eventually took over his father’s construction company in the late 50’s and retired in the mid 90’s.
Peter was an avid reader and also very active in sports with his favorites being skiing and mountain biking which he did until the age of 87! He was battling cancer since his diagnosis in summer 2019.

Peter was married to Rejane Hurtubise in 1956 until her passing in 2017. He leaves behind his two sons, Robert (Liette Chamberland) and Bruno (Monique Tremblay) and his daughter Marie-Anne (Jim Fodi) and their combined six grandchildren.

We wish to extend our sincere thanks to Sylvie and the ladies who have been taking care of him daily in the comfort of his home.
